SUMMARY:Black and Missing Foundation Media Task Force Kickoff
DESCRIPTION:WABJ has joined forces with Black and Missing Foundation (BAMFI) as a media partner. We’re committed to working together to address the critical issue of media bias in missing persons cases involving people of color.  Our mission is to create a comprehensive media guide that will help change the way newsrooms report on missing persons cases.  Through virtual workshops\, collaborative guideline development\, and the creation of an impact matrix\, WABJ members will play a crucial role in driving meaningful change in journalism practices nationwide. \nLaunching May 2025! \nOur kickoff meeting will be held today- Saturday\, February 15th from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM EST via Zoom.
