WABJ is hosting a workshop to help journalists improve and expand their coverage of HIV/Aids and other health disparities in the U.S. This event, a collaboration with the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, is in observance of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.
The workshop will feature experts who will share best practices on how to equitably write, report and develop communications plans that accurately reflect the lived experiences of communities impacted by HIV and other health issues. Stay tuned for more information about our special guests.
PROGRAMMING NOTE: There will be a general meeting following this panel discussion. We will share some exciting plans for 2024 and the latest updates on this year’s NABJ Convention & Career Fair in Chicago. You don’t want to miss this.
Refreshments will be served. As always, we welcome your ideas, passion and partnership to help move WABJ’s forward.
