WASHINGTON, D.C. — Washington, D.C. voters will get an opportunity to see candidates face off in a debate setting when qualified contenders for Mayor and D.C. Congressional Delegate take the stage for DCision 2026: D.C. Delegate and Mayoral Debate on Saturday, May 2, 2026, for a full afternoon of debates at Jack Morton Auditorium on the campus of George Washington University.
DCision 2026: D.C. Delegate and Mayoral Debate will be hosted by the Washington Informer, the Greater Washington D.C. Black Chamber of Commerce, the DC Democratic Party, and the Washington Association of Black Journalists.
The event marks a key moment as Washingtonians weigh leadership on issues ranging from public safety and housing to economic recovery, education, and the city’s ongoing fight for full representation in Congress.
